The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Portland District located at 333 SW 1st Avenue; Portland, Oregon 97204, is issuing a solicitation for Terrestrial (Noxious and Invasive) Weed Treatment by Broadcast Application at Fern Ridge Lake in Lane County Oregon.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The Contractor shall broadcast spray (and handgun spray some areas) approximately 168.5 acres, with various formulations, at Fern Ridge in 2015 and 2016. Treatment areas are detailed in Attachment A (Map of Broadcast Treatment Areas). Herbicide formulation, target species and treatment areas are specified within Section 5 of the PWS. The Contractor shall use broadcast application, towed or mounted and on tractors or ATVs, to perform six (6) treatments on twenty-two (22) units, totaling approximately 168.5 acres.


To qualify and be considered responsive, Vendors shall submit the following with their quote: Vendor's copy of their State of Oregon Pesticide Applicator License in the category of Agriculture-Herbicide, Forest or Right-of-Way. Detailed information is outlined in FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items), located within the solicitation. Failure to provide this information prior to the closing of the solicitation (Block 8 of the SF1449) will result in the quote being nonresponsive.
