The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is requesting information of potential sources to provide all labor, supervision, repair tools, materials, transportation and management necessary for the inventory, storage, design, installation, reconfiguration, repair, and maintenance for modular, case goods, and systems furniture throughout the EPA?s Main Campus Facilities A through E, National Computer Center (NCC), A-Annex Wing, High Bay Building located in Research Triangle Park, NC, and Human Studies Facility (HSF) located in Chapel Hill, NC. The Government has researched this requirement and would like sources that are certified technicians and/or authorized dealers or that may work on all of the furniture lines without the risk of jeopardizing any existing warranties. The offeror will maintain real-time inventory and provide a web-based inventory database with EPA read-only access; provide storage for existing inventory furniture; provide furniture desi gn and layout services; and install, reconfigure, repair, and maintain ALL of the existing furniture in our facility to include Herman Miller, Kimball Office, Davis Furniture, Geiger, Hickory Business Furniture and Krueger International. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required support shall provide information explaining their capabilities and qualifications in writing within 7 business days from the date of this announcement. Potential sources should address whether they are authorized dealers for the above furniture lines, or address their plan for installing, repairing, and maintaining this furniture without voiding any warranties. Additionally, please address a plan for providing local storage of existing inventory. The intent of this sources sought is to communicate to industry the Government?s potential requirement. Therefore no Request for Proposal (RFP) is available. Consequently, any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned da ta but instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFP will not be honored.
