This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request for quote (RFQ) N00174-14-T-0087 is the only written solicitation, which will be issued, unless amended. The NAICS Code 325120 Size Standard 1000 employees. The offeror shall provide a firm fixed price offer for Liquid Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, and Liquid Helium. Offerors must provide with their proposal a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commerical items (June 2003). Responses must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on 18 August 2014. Provide responses to Susan Gaylor, Code A24B, 4072 N. Amend to extend due date to Aug 27, 2014 and answer questions:
1. Who is the previous contractor? Airgas
2. What is the contract number? N00174-10-M-0059
3. What is the value? $10,028.39 (This buy was only for Liquid Nitrogen)
4. Will installation costs for each tank be set up on a separate purchase for the awarded vendor? There isn't a line item for the cost of installation of the tanks you need to rent. Include any installation costs in Line 0002 and 0005 for rental.
SITE VISIT INFO:
CONTRACTOR SITE VISIT A site survey will be held on 22 Aug 2014. Offerors interested in this requirement shall submit the names of individuals, SSN, birthdate, US Citizen status, drivers license and email susan.gaylor@navy.mil who will attend the site survey no later than 12 Aug 2014, in order to ensure access to the base and Buildings 600 and 3146. Offerors who do not submit timely requests will not be afforded the opportunity to inspect the existing structure. A representative of the vendor is encouraged to attend the Site Survey
