The objective of the project is to further expand on the existing MILCON P-205 Full Scale Electric Drive Test Facility infrastructure in order to perform full scale propulsion system testing. This project is also a follow-on effort associated with MILCON P-536 Energy Recirculation System and Electric Machinery Equipment Installation (EMEI) projects. The new system will support a loading configuration that will allow energy recovery during load emulation. To support the power recirculation loading configuration the re-arrangement of the existing electrical switching equipment configuration and connections is required. The project will connect to the MILCON P-205 infrastructure in Building 633 and Building 77H.

Specifically the project will include connection of a government furnished Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) output to existing infrastructure; modifications and additions to existing switchgear; installation of government furnished transformers; instrumentation and controls; and related civil and structural improvements.
