USDA COOKED TURKEY TACO FILLING PURCHASE PROGRAM ANNOUNCED:


The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced plans to purchase cooked turkey taco filling (100119) for the National School Lunch Program and other Federal food and nutrition assistance programs.


A Request for Proposal (solicitation) will be issued in the near future resulting in an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) firm, fixed price with economic price adjustment contract. The solicitation will be issued for deliveries December 1, 2014, through November 30, 2015. All proposals must be submitted electronically through the Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) website at http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?navid=WBSCM 
Offers submitted by any means other than WBSCM will be considered non-responsive.


Offerors are urged to review all documents as they pertain to this program. The Qualification Requirements for Prospective Vendors, dated June 2014, is available under "New Vendor Information" on the AMS Commodity Procurement website at www.ams.usda.gov/commoditypurchasing
