Wetland Restoration Project, Ingham County, Michigan Construction of structures and facilities NAICS Code: 237 -- Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction/237990 -- Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service in Michigan is planning to restore a wetland located in Leslie Township, Ingham County, Michigan. Major items of work are as follows: Structure Removal; Mobilization and Demobilization; Microtopography; Shallow Water Wildlife Areas; Tree/Shrub Site Preparation; Tree/Shrub Establishment; and Wetland Seeding. The duration of the contract is approximately 303 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification for this acquisition is 237990 and the size standard is $36.5 million. This solicitation is issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation package along with the specifications and drawings will be issued as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov on or around August 11, 2014. A site visit will be held on August 19, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. (EDT) at 1121 Olds Road, Leslie, MI 49251. The bid opening will be held at USDA-NRCS, Michigan State Office, 3001 Coolidge Road, Suite 250, East Lansing, MI 48823, Conference Room B on September 10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. (EDT). A Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued on or about September 15, 2014 with construction to begin within 10 days of issuance. The Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determination No. MI140058 dated July 18, 2014 applies. PLEASE NOTE: Contractor will be required to follow the USDA-NRCS Supplement to OSHA Part 1926.
