F--Lacks Creek Slashing and Piling, Humboldt County, CA Natural resources & conservation services NAICS Code: 115 -- Support Activities for Agriculture and Forestry/115310 -- Support Activities for Forestry The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arcata Field Office has a requirement for thinning tanoak and fir trees, as well as piling an old slashing unit. The project involves felling, slashing and piling tanoak and Douglas fir trees on a total of approximately 58 acres (3 units) in the Lacks Creek Management Area, Humboldt County, CA. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be set-aside for Small Business. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) Code is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, with a small business size standard of $7M. Award will be based on BEST VALUE criteria available in the solicitation and one award will result as a Firm Fixed Price contract. Closing date for the RFQ is 5:00 pm (PDT), August 19, 2014. Period of Performance will be 60 days after Notice to Proceed.
