SOLID WASTE COLLECTION NEEDED
Utilities and housekeeping services NAICS Code: 562 -- Waste Management and Remediation Services/562111 -- Solid Waste Collection This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation No. is A14PS00674 and is a request for proposals. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) has a requirement for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal throughout the campus of Haskell Indian Nations University, Lawrence, Kansas. It is the intent of the Government to award a fixed price contract for a base year with four option years, not to exceed 5 years. Contractor should provide a separate Service Schedule and Pricing for each year. The base year will be 10/01/2014 to 09/30/2015. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, Solid Waste Collection. The Statement of Work is attached for your review and use in providing your proposal. (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Past performance of similar services 2. Price Past performance when combined, are equal to price. (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
