Introduction and Background - The Malheur National Forest has historically contracted for services to mechanically alter ground and ladder fuels such as reducing understory tree densities and harvesting slash and down woody debris through the use of mechanical thinning and mastication of those materials.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work, including contractor quality control, in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract.


Project Location - Projects will occur on lands administered by the Malheur National Forest. Specific treatments for each unit and unit locations will be identified on Detailed Unit Information Sheets (DUIS) and maps which are separately attached.



It is anticipated that a multiple award IDIQ will result from this solicitation. The solicitation and supporting documents will be posted to FBO on or around July 7, 2014 and the closing date will be on or around July 28, 2014.
