The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, RI intends to place a purchase order with Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc, Cage Code 08719, Carson, CA to provide the following non-commercial item:
Qty 1                      PN 7-22431-1                       Dip Loop Tester


Delivery is expected 26 weeks from receipt of purchase order, FOB: DESTINATION, Newport, RI. 


FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used.  NAICS code is 334511.  Size standard is 750 Employees. 


The Government intends to solicit in accordance with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source.  Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc. is the sole source for the dip loop cable tester part number 7-22431-1. Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc. is the owner of rights in data, patent rights, copyrights, and processes related to the dip loop tester part number 7-22431-1. Award to any other source will cause unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements and a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition.


This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
