The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of timber on approximately 69 acres total located at the Francis E. Walter Reservoir, Luzerne County, PA of which approximately the following volumes of standing timber to be harvested within the delineated timber sale area blocks:
The timber within this sale is sold by LUMP SUM.
Item 1:
TIMBER ON BLOCK 4 (34.30 ACRES)
HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER - 0 B.F. (1/4" Int)
HARDWOOD PULPWOOD - 1,024 Tons
TIMBER ON BLOCK 5 (34.70 ACRES)
HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER - 4,603 B.F. (1/4" Int)
HARDWOOD PULPWOOD - 810 Tons
Contract shall run from June 1, 2016 - April 30, 2017, the timber must be harvested from October 1, 2016 - April 30, 2017.


Item No. 1 - 4,603 board feet of hardwood sawtimber and 1,834 tons of hardwood pulpwood on approximately 69 acres.


Timber may be inspected by prospective purchasers ON WEDNESDAY May, 18 2016 BEGINNING AT 9:00 a.m. STARTING AT THE FRANCIS E. WALTER OFFICE. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 1, 2016 by Acquisition, Management, and disposal section, real estate office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
