Ships, small craft, pontoons & floating docks NAICS Code: 562 -- Waste Management and Remediation Services/562910 -- Remediation Services The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for Clean all surfaces within the interior of the Derrickboat McCauley, removing all lead dust to an acceptable level of 40 micrograms per square foot or less as determined by a certified testing laboratory retained by the government using NIOSH Method 7082 of swipe samples collected by an independent Lead Risk Assessor retained by the government. This will be a Low Price procurement, in accordance with FAR Part 12, resulting in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Please submit a capabilities statement that includes DUNS, CAGE, and Business Size in accordance with the selected NAICS. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is W912P4-16-T-0019 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. (iv) This required is set aside for small business. NAICS code is 562910 with a size standard $20,500.00. (v) Offerors shall provide pricing on company letterhead. (vi) The contractor shall supply all material and labor for removing all lead dust to an acceptable level. Additional information are in the attached statement of work and Solicitation Package. (vii) Removal of all lead is to be completed within 30 days of date of award. The exact service dates shall be coordinated with the USACE staff. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Award will be made to the offeror who provides the lowest acceptable price. (x) Offerors shall be registered at SAM.Gov in order to be eligible for award.
