The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) State Office located in Stillwater, OK intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program in Kay County, Oklahoma.


The work will consist of stream bank stabilization measures and debris removal on ten (10) sites located in Kay County, Oklahoma. The major items of work consist of mobilization and demobilization, rock riprap installed, riprap bedding installed, crushed rock installed and debris removal.


In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for the projects is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standards for this NAICS is $36.5M. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 56 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).


The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-aside. The full solicitation package including specifications and drawings will be available from the Federal Business Opportunities website on or around January 28, 2016. Interested vendors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
