Professional, administrative, and management support services NAICS Code: 812 -- Personal and Laundry Services/812111 -- Barber Shops The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Barber services to be provided on behalf of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located in Florence, Colorado. The contractor shall be responsible for performing a variety of barbering services on maximum custody/security level male inmates, at FCC Florence located at 5880 State Highway 67 South, Florence, Colorado, 81226. These services shall include the utilization of a combination of different barbering techniques and tools to prepare, condition, cut, and groom the skin and hair of the neck, face, and scalp areas. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months from the EDOA and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The Contractor shall be required to perform an estimated fourteen (14), one (1) hour sessions each week, with an estimated seven (7) extra session per month on an as needed basis dictated by delays related to security issues. This is an estimated total of eight hundred twelve (812) sessions per year. Sessions will be scheduled Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays, as mutually agreed upon between the Contractor and the FCC Florence Trust Fund Supervisor. Sessions shall be one (1) hour in length and shall be ordinarily scheduled between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The solicitation will be available on or about December 18, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register on the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is January 8, 2015, 2:00 P.M. CST, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 812111 with a size standard of $7.5 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is April 1, 2016.
