The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Otisville NY, intends to issue solicitation RFQP02111600004 for the acquisition of Dairy products. The estimated quarterly quantities are 135,000 half pints of skim kosher certified milk, 200ea, five pound containers of cottage cheese , 10 5lb containers of Sour Cream. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of January 1, 2016 to March 31, 2016. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Otisville, Two Mile Drive Otisville, NY 10963-0600 twice a week on Monday and Thursday no later than 12:00pm but not before 8:00am. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible Vendor whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, and with past performance and price considered. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price. Past Performance (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 19, 2015 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http:/www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. Faith based and community based organizations can submit offers/ quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of receipt of quotes is December 17th, 2015 11:00am EST. Payment will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or purchase card.
