The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award of a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Entech Instruments, Inc., 2207 Agate Court, Simi Valley, CA for a one year service contract beginning January 1, 2016, to cover a 7200 pre-concentrator 7500a auto sampler and 3100 HSD/BottleVac cleaning system (Service Contract CEMB) and a full annual service agreement of the ENTECH 7150-LN2/7500A autosampler with LevelV onsite service support plan with unlimited phone support, maximum of one-hour call back and non-consumable repair parts, plus one on-site service visit (Service Contract BHAB). Two option years for each unit are also included. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
